PEPPERONCINI

Orange-red, wrinkled, tapered, and usually curved. Measures about 2 to 3 inches long and 1/2 inch across. Thin fleshed with sweet tones. Commonly used as a flavoring for tomato sauces and seafood dishes in southern Europe.
