BELL RED

Also known as a sweet red pepper. Bright red, usually shaped like the green bell pepper, measuring about 4 to 5 inches long and 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Thick fleshed; very sweet, with crisp, fruity tones similar to ripened tomatoes. Used in salads and stews, and with pastas. Can be griIled or roasted.
