Medium green to red when fully ripe. Tapered to a point, and measuring about 4 to 5 inches long and I to l/2 inches in diameter. Thin fleshed; has a green, vegetable flavor, a little sharp like a tomatillo, with little fruitiness. The red de agua has a more developed sweetness than the green. Excellent stuffed (rellenos), or used in soups or mole sauces.
