SWEET PURPLE

Bright purple. Tapering to a pointfrom broad shoulders and measuring about 4 to 5 inches long and 2 to 2 l/2 inches in diameter at the shoulders. Thick fleshed; sweetflavor similar to bell peppers. Used in salads. Can be roasted. Like the Dutch red this chile is being cultivated in Holland as a specialty produce item.
