The Murcott is a much improved tangerine like citrus fruit. It has recently
been renamed and is now called the Honey Tangerine. These haven't been in
the market nearly as long as the regular tangerines. They are firmer and
juicier than tangerines but are more difficult to peel and segment and have
a fair amount of seeds. The flesh is very sweet and has a rich, deep orange
color.
