The Murcott is a much improved tangerine like citrus fruit. It has recentlybeen renamed and is now called the Honey Tangerine. These haven't been inthe market nearly as long as the regular tangerines. They are firmer andjuicier than tangerines but are more difficult to peel and segment and havea fair amount of seeds. The flesh is very sweet and has a rich, deep orangecolor.
