The Temple orange is a cross between a tangerine and a sweet orange.
They are shaped like, but are larger than, tangerines. Their loose fitting
skins make them easy to peel and segment, but they have lots of seeds. Temples
have a fine, sweet flavor. They are not only excellent when eaten out of
hand but render a very sweet, rich orange juice when squeezed. Florida Temples
arrive in December and wind up in April.
