NORTHERN SPY APPLE

The Northern Spy is one of the finest all-purpose apples. Unfortunately,its production is on the decline. Juicy, tart, and crisp textured, it'swell suited for eating fresh and for all cooking uses. Much of the cropis processed into pie fillings and applesauce. Available on a limited basisin the Northeast and Upper Great Lakes region, mid-October through February.
