Flavor and Texture: fruity odor with a mild apricot and spice flavor, firmand thick
Description: cap is egg-yellow to orange in color, 1-6 inches wide and slightlyconvex, to trumpet-shaped to nearly flat. Forked, deeply grooved gills stretchfrom the under cap surface onto the stem. Note: good in light sauces withpoultry, game, eggs, rice, pasta and stuffing.
