OYSTER MUSHROOM

Oyster A.K.A.: Pleurotes, Shimeji. Tree Oyster, Angel's Wings
Flavor and Texture: fruit or licorice odor and mild oyster flavors; smooth, soft and slightly slimy texture.
Description: may be beige. yellow, pink or slightly bluish in color. The caps are fan or shell-shaped and grow from 1/2 inch across to a breadth of 8 inches in clusters of overlapping tiers and are often affixed to the sides of trees
