1 quart raw cabbage
1 quart cooked beets
1/2 cup horseradish
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1 tablespoon salt
Shred cabbage. Add rest of ingredients. Add vinegar to cover (do not heat).
Store in refrigerator in bottle or covered container.
