DRIED FRUIT COMPOTE


1 pound dried fruit (apricots, prunes, peaches, apples or combination)
2 cups apple juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Microwave Oven Directions: Combine all ingredients in a glass bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on high setting 15 to 20 minutes (until fruit is tender and flavors have blended).

Crock Pot Directions: Combine all ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 2 to 3 hours or until fruit is tender.

Conventional Oven Directions: Combine all ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer gently until fruit is tender.
