2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 cups milk
4 tablespoons beef drippings
Sift flour and salt together, add beaten eggs and then milk. Beat 2 minutes
with egg beater and then pour in hot baking pan which contains 4 tablespoons
hot beef drippings. Have lard bubbling fast before pouring in the pudding.
Bake in hot oven at 450°F. When the under part is nicely browned,
which takes about 10 or 15 minutes, turn pudding over, and bake 10 or 15
minutes more. Cut in squares for serving. Serve with roast beef.
