3 pounds pork ribs, cut in single pieces
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sherry
3 tablespoons tomato juice
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
In a large glass bowl or pan, marinate spareribs overnight, or for several
hours at least, in a sauce made from above ingredients. Remove spareribs
from marinade and place them in a baking pan. Bake at 275°F for 1 hour.
Be sure not to brown them too fast. Pour more marinade over cooked spareribs
and continue baking for 30 minutes. Be sure to turn ribs to prevent scorching.
Serve with cooked rice. The same marinade glaze can be used with chicken
and rib-end pork chops.
