2 pounds fish fillets
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Sauce:
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup fish stock
1/2 cup sesame paste
Microwave Oven Directions: Arrange fillets in a glass baking dish. Sprinkle
with cumin and garlic powder. Cover dish with plastic wrap and cook on high
for 8 minutes, or until almost done. Drain off excess liquid. Set aside.
To make sesame sauce: Place onions in a glass bowl. Cover with plastic wrap
and cook on high for 1 to 2 minutes, or until onions are soft. Slowly stir
lemon juice and fish stock into sesame paste. Add onions. Pour over fish.
Re-cover baked fish with plastic wrap and return to microwave oven. Cook
on high for 4 to 5 minutes longer, or until fish flakes easily and sauce
is bubbly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot or cold.
Conventional Directions: Brush fish fillets with olive oil. Sprinkle with
cumin and garlic powder. Place in a baking dish and bake uncovered at 350°F
for 15 minutes, or until fish is flaky. Pour sauce from basic recipe over
fish. Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes longer.
