AVACADO SOUP


2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 onion
1/2 cup celery
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups water
1 bay leaf
1 cup milk
1 cup mashed avocado

Brown onion and flour in butter. Add celery, water, bay leaf, salt, pepper, and milk. Simmer until celery is tender. Add mashed avocado and cook for 5 minutes. Serve
with whipped cream on top.
