1 pound cauliflower
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Microwave Oven Directions: Wash cauliflower and check weight on kitchen
scale. Cauliflower may be cooked whole, with outer leaves left on, or else
trimmed and broken into flowerets. Completely cover whole cauliflower with
plastic wrap and place on a paper plate. Cook flowerets in a glass bowl
covered with plastic wrap. Cook on high setting in microwave oven 7 minutes
per pound.
Conventional Directions: In a saucepan boil 1 inch water with 1 tablespoon
lemon juice. Place cauliflower, head up, in boiling liquid. Cook, partially
covered, until tender-crisp (about 15 minutes).
