1 quart of heavy cream
1 pint of ale
10 eggs
1 tablespoon of sugar
Beat the yolks of the 10 eggs and the whites of 5 eggs with the sugar and
the cream. When thoroughly blended, stir in the ale. Sprinkle in some nutmeg
and some cloves. Cook over a slow fire until the mixture thickens and serve.
