Hot Drinks
1 cup of cognac brandy
45 pieces of loaf sugar
50 whole cloves
3 pieces of stick cinnamon, broken in bits
1/2 of an orange peel cut thin
1 small piece of lemon peel, cut thin
1 quart of strong dripped coffee
Combine the ingredients in advance. In a brulot bowl, pour in a cup of cognac
brandy. Add the sugar, the cloves, the cinnamon, the orange peel, and the
lemon rind. Let the Brulot set for a few hours. Before serving, add the
coffee.
