Juleps
1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
1 pony of cognac brandy
1 pony of peach brandy
3 sprigs of mint
Place a few of the mint leaves in a silver goblet. Dissolve the sugar with
a bit of water. Crush the remaining mint leaves and add them in the sugar.
Next, add the cognac and peach brandy. Fill the goblet with finely crushed
ice. Jiggle with the long-handled bar spoon until your julep is well frapped,
and serve.
