Non-Alcoholic Drinks


1/4 pound of sweet chocolate
1/2 cup of hot water
6 eggs, seperated
1 teaspoon of vanilla
a few grains of salt
1 cup of heavy cream, whipped
brandy or sherry (optional)

Melt the chocolate in the top of a doubleboiler. Add some hot water in order to make a smooth paste. Beat the egg yolks very lightly. Add the chocolate and fold instiffly beaten egg whites, vanilla and salt. Chill and serve with whipped cream, flavoredwith brandy or sherry.
