EPAZOTE
Epazote, also known as wormseed or stinkweed, grows wild throughout theAmericas. It has a strong aroma similar to kerosene and a wild flavor. Freshepazote is used in salads and as a flavoring in Mexican and Southwesterncuisines. It is often cooked with beans to reduce the gaseousness. Driedepazote is brewed to make a beverage.
