The appellation " Condrieu " covers the vineyards of the villagesof Verin St-Michel and Condrieu eight miles from Vienne, and on the sameright bank of the Rhone. The appellation Condrieu includes only those winesgrown from the Viognier vine. As most other white wines, Condrieu may bedrunk when young, but with age it can often also charm the connoisseur'spalate.
