Sprouting from unhospitable granite soil, and profiting from its perfect
siting, Chateau Grillet stands apart through the originality and boldness
of its bouquet. The only vine variety used is Viognier. In the cellars dug
out under the chateau, Chateau Grillet may wait two years for its whole
personality
to blossom forth.
Chateau Grillet is a four acre parcel and the smallest AOC. It lies within the Condrieu appellation.
