ASIAN VEGETABLES


Until recently, few Americans had access to the vegetables used in Asian cuisine. Today, Oriental vegetables are available in most of our larger supermarkets. Snow peas, bean sprouts, tofu, fresh ginger root, daikon, bok choy, and Chinese cabbage sell well and are fairly easy to find. Some of the more unusual items may be available only in larger cities or Oriental neighborhoods.
