ASIAN VEGETABLES


Until recently, few Americans had access to the vegetables used in Asiancuisine. Today, Oriental vegetables are available in most of our largersupermarkets. Snow peas, bean sprouts, tofu, fresh ginger root, daikon,bok choy, and Chinese cabbage sell well and are fairly easy to find. Someof the more unusual items may be available only in larger cities or Orientalneighborhoods.
